Default W/Mo Solo Farming Build

OK, ok so there are a lot of solo farming builds out there, especially with Warriors, but I thought that I would put my 2 cents in on my build.

Armament:
Platemail Helm with Major Vigor
Gladiator's Hauberk With Major Absorption
Gladiator's Guantlets With Major Tactics
Gladiator's Leggings With Major Strength
Knights Boots with Major Swordsmanship
Gold Fellblade 15^50 // 10/9 Sundering // +6 Armor vs. Physical

Atts:

8 Smiting
6+3 Strength
11+2 Swordsmanship
10+2 Tactics

Skills:

Sever Artery
Bonetti's Defense
Gladiator's Defense
Watchful Spirit
Balthazar's Spirit
Balthazar's Aura
Symbol of Wrath
Healing Signet

The Execution:

I farm mainly elona reach, but this can be used for Griffon farming also, as I have done it before...

1. Cast your Spirits
2. Gather up as many groups of minos as you can.
3. A couple of hits and you should have enough energy to cast SoW and GD.
4. Attack building up Bonetti's, use Sever Artery as attacks will not disengage GD.
5. Hit Bonetti's as GD is wearing off.
6. When Bonetti's starts blinking (wearing off) hit Balt's Aura.
7. As wait 2 seconds after casting Aura and hit bonetti's again.
8. GD and SoW again and it is all over.

This is a very simple build, you just have to get your timing right. After you do, Elona mino runs take about 5 minutes. If doing Elona, always be sure to have an Elonian key or two with you as, 90% of the time, there is an Elonian Chest in the backside of the mission, next to the Ghost (Just hold down "ALT" and pan around to see). I am not gonna claim that this will make you a millionaire overnight, but I have gotten some pretty nice drops from this run. I got 2 Black Dyes and numerous Weapons (Purple, Blue, and Gold) from this run, including the aforementioned Sword that I use.

Enjoy,
Synthia Starstriker

The only thing I can forsee as a problem is the lack of self healing.

You're kinda relying on the fact that you can rip them apart
before they rip you apart.

Just an observation.

While I'm sure this build works fine, I'm also sure it's one of the less efficient ways of doing it, especially since you're battling such weak monstors.

Consider Bonetti's Defense with Cyclone Axe for your evasion needs, which also allows you to utilize Live Vicariously and the like for your healing. A build along those lines allows me to collect and farm every single creature outside Augury at the same time, where your build would die in seconds.

Yours may be new and unique where mine isn't (search for the right words and you'll find the dozens of posts I based my build on) but it's also not very efficient or safe.

I think it'd be better to switch up your stats and not use sup. weapon runes. [sup vigor/absorb is always good however]

I'd run your stats like this to get lots of double digit stats and a TON of extra bonus hp...

10+1+1 Swordsmanship
9+1 Tactics
7+1 Strength
10 Smiting

Now your AoE spells will do their damage, your tactics moves are still hot, and your sword is still 100% dmg. You're gaining 3 double digit stats vs. your 2 as well as a lot of hp for losing the sup. runes.

This is pve so tanking with extra hp never hurt anyone.

Watchful Spirit and Healing Signet

Healing Signet can be used, if necessary, while Gladiator's Defense is in Effect. So the step in which you hit Gladiator's Defense and then SoW can be immediately followed, as such included, by Healing Signet.

And, if this is done as I said, you CAN rip them apart before you ever take any significant damage. I have done this run no less than 250 times, probably a lot more. I am not saying it is perfect, so I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for recognizing that it is new and unique, since that is exactly what I was going for instead of cookie-cutter. And, if read properly, you would notice that my post said nothing of farming outside of Augury Rock. Once again, thanks for the reply and the critism.

Thanks for the reply. I was actually thinking of going to a Major Swordsmanship Rune, for increased Health. As for the increased Smiting, the difference isn't that significant as I have tried that before. Like I said, though, thanks for the input.

I personally think shield stance should be in there somewhere. What I did with my W/Mo before I deleted him out of boredom (farming is not for me ) was very similar but I just used bonettis for energy gain. I was in a stance 100% of the time and would only die from boredom.

I like Yukito's advice though. He knows hit stuff on warriors for sure. I personally went insane on tactics and took it to 16. The bonus damage to glad's defence was nice, as was the heal sig but probably less tactics is wiser. One or two extra seconds on stances is barely noticable.

A zealous sword pommel/hilt/whatever is good too.

Balth's spirit? Meh. I never liked it much. I can whack things to gain adrenaline faster. Also with stances you should not get hit much so evasion stances pretty much make it ineffective.

Having tried this i prefer the psycho axe/vicariously version.

In order for Bonetti's to charge within a reasonable time limit, so as not to lose too much health, and to replenish some much needed energy for the Smite spells, Balt's is a must.

Thinking of going with a Cyclone Axe build, just replacing Sever Artery with Cyclone, to help speed up the killing process.

with the exception of vigor and absorbtion, you should drop your majors. to use one superior is fine but majors are pointless. you lose 50 health for +1 stat really. might as well go superior in one attribute for -25 more and use minors on the rest. warriors dont really need superior runes since it doesnt make that much difference in your attack.

Default A good farming build

Well I would like to point out that this build lacks self healing...i kno because i tried it. So after a bit of tries lets say 10, i got a better build with enough self healing if you know what you're doing. Gotta admit the basics I got from this guy so I need to thank him. (this build is for the minotaurs in elona mission)

Armor: I dont think there's a specific armor although glads (reduce damage) works well

Weapons: Just get a max +dmg^50 axe preferably while enchanted unless its permanent and a shield with -dmg while stanced or enchanted (preferably with +health too).

Atts: 7 Healing, 8 Smiting, 6+1 Strength, 9+1 Axe, 10+1 Tactics (you need to do both attribute quests, if you haven't, reduce strength)

Skills:

Cyclone Axe: Attack foes around you for +9 dmg.

Defensive Stance: For 16 seconds you have +24 armor and have 75% to evade melee attacks and arrows. It ends if you use a skill.

Balthazars Aura: For 10 seconds foes around you takes 18 holy damage each second.

Vigorous Spirit: For 30 seconds, whenever you attack or cast a spell you gain 12 health.

Gladiators Stance: For 9 seconds, you have a 75% to block incoming attacks. each time you block, the attacker takes 27 damage this way.

Bonettis Defense: For 9 seconds, you have 75% chance to block attacks and arrows, you gain 5 energy for each succesful melee attack blocked.

Balthazars Spirit: While you mantain this enchantment you gain 1 energy and adrenaline after taking damage. The amount of adrenaline increases with amount of smiting prayers.

Live Vicariously: While you mantain this enchantment, everytime you attack, you gain 9 health.
Organization:

Ok, here is how it goes.

1. Cast the two permanent enchantments (balthazars spirit and live vicariously).
2. Aggro the minotaurs (doesn't have to be all of them, a nice group is fine)
3. Cast Gladiators defense and then cyclone axe with the remaining energy you have left.
4. After you use cyclone axe, bonettis should definetly be available (unless you have 3 or less minotaurs WHICH YOU SHOULDN'T)
5. Use bonettis and wait until energy fully regens.
6. Cast balthazars aura (for more hp when you use cyclone axe)
7. Immediately after balthazars aura use cyclone axe again. (should gain a good fair amount of health)
8. Rinse and repeat.
9. If you find yourself low on health use defensive stance and quickly cyclone axe (to gain hp with the enchantment). If you had used balthazars spirit, then the heal should be quite a lot.

This is what you should do, obviously, from step 4 and on you can play or the change the order of which you use your skills, but this is the basic of how i use it and it gets good.

**People may comment about no skill for healing, but trust me, with live vicariously, balthazars spirit, and all the minotaurs around you, you shouldn't be needing one.

I haven't tested this build against trolls outside droks, but it should work.

Any questions about this build just write down and i'll answer as soon as I can.

it doesnt really lack any kind of self healing at all, healing signet is about all you still need, you can still farm xuekao now with the regular riposte 0 matic, all you have to make sure is you have at least 15 or more tactics for the 152 healing signet, healing signet is all you need to heal if you got a stance like bonetti or glad up to cover it so it cant be interupted
